One-to-One Teaching
Every lesson is one-to-one. It is just you and your instructor in a dual-controlled car. Nobody shares your hour, and nobody waits for a turn. You get your instructor’s full attention throughout the lesson. Our team is small on purpose. We choose instructors who are patient and easy to talk to. That matters a lot if you are nervous.
Each lesson has a clear goal, such as junction observation, roundabouts, or bay parking. Your instructor also uses the mirrors, signal, manoeuvre routine, so good habits form early.
Lessons Around Your Timetable
Your lecture plan changes every term. Your lesson times can change with it. We teach on weekdays and on Saturdays, so you can book around classes, labs, and shifts. Our office is open from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and on Saturday mornings. Tell us your free days when you call. We will match you with an instructor who can fit them.

Driving Courses for Students at Every Stage
Not every student needs the same thing. Some have never touched a car. Others have driven abroad or taken a long break. Here are the driving courses we offer.
- First driving lessons. Brand new to driving? Your first driving lesson starts in a quiet spot. You learn the controls, how to move off, and how to stop safely.
- Manual driving lessons. Our manual driving lessons give you time to master the clutch and gears. Passing your test in a manual car lets you drive both manual and automatic cars, subject to your licence conditions.
- Automatic driving lessons. With automatic driving lessons, there is no clutch and no stalling. That means less stress in traffic.
- Intensive driving course. Summer break is a great time to learn fast. An intensive driving course packs your learning into a short, busy block.
- Refresher lessons. Passed a while ago, or lost your nerve? Refresher driving lessons rebuild your skills at your own speed.
- Pass Plus. Once you pass, the Pass Plus driving course builds real-world skills. Some insurers may offer a discount after Pass Plus, but this depends on the insurer and policy.
- Motorway lessons. Many students never learn the motorway. Our motorway driving lessons teach you to join, change lanes, and leave safely.
- Female instructors. You can ask for a female driving instructor on any course, when one is free in your area.
Your Steps to a Full Licence as a Student
Getting your licence has a few clear steps. Follow them in order and the whole process becomes much easier to plan around your studies.
Step 1: Get Your Provisional Licence
You need a provisional licence before you can drive on the road. Apply on the GOV.UK website. It costs £34 online and £43 by post. You can apply from age 15 years and 9 months, and you can start lessons at 17.
Keep your licence card safe. You need it for your theory test and your practical test.
Step 2: Pass Your Theory Test
The theory test costs £23. It has two parts. First, you answer 50 multiple-choice questions. Then you take the hazard perception test, where you spot dangers in short video clips. You need 43 out of 50 on the questions to pass.

Step 3: Book Lessons and Practise
The number of lessons you need depends on your experience, learning pace, and how regularly you practise. Your instructor can assess your progress and guide you.
Near the end, you will practise independent driving, following a sat nav, and answering the show me tell me questions. We also run a mock test so you know what the real one feels like. Reading the Highway Code between lessons helps a lot.

Step 4: Take Your Practical Test
The practical driving test costs £62 on weekdays and £75 on evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You book it yourself on the DVSA site. We cannot book it for you, but we will tell you when you are ready and help you pick a good centre and date.
The test lasts about 40 minutes. You can make up to 15 minor faults and still pass. One serious fault or dangerous fault means a fail, so calm, safe driving matters more than perfect driving.
You take the test in your instructor’s car. It is the same car you learned in, so it feels familiar.
